Job Description
About the Role
We have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, enthusiastic and self-motivated Warehouse Administration Officer to join our team on the afternoon shift from 12pm to 8.30pm Mondays to Thursdays and 10am to 4.pm on Fridays.
Reporting to the Warehouse & Distribution Manager and working as part of a small team and impactful team, where you will be responsible for:
• Ensure all orders are processed accurately and on time to meet business and customer KPI’s.
• Process orders through the Warehouse Management System (WMS) book freight with carriers and create freight labels.
• Liaise with shipping/transport companies re scheduling containers for delivery into warehouse and transport bookings for warehouse.
• Support with daily chep transfers to transport companies and customers.
• Liaise with warehouse, regarding the progress of orders, stock receipts, dispatches and general follow up.
• Plan daily work for the warehouse team for orders, reworks, put-aways, loading, unloading etc.
• Liaise with other stake holders, regarding time of arrivals, billing enquiries, order progress, stock enquiries etc.
• Chase up proof of delivery (POD) and maintain correct record in the system provided.
• Manage weekly invoicing and billing as well as coding and filing.
• Ensure the quality of service is at a high standard.
• Maintain all current reports accurately and improve as required.
• Perform miscellaneous duties, which are work-related and as assigned.
• Develop a proactive approach to completion of daily operations that encourages teamwork, cooperation and positive communication.

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Experience in a FMCG environment will be viewed favourably
• WMS and ERP experience is advantageous
• Satisfactory numeracy and literacy comprehension with advanced Excel skills

• Strong problem solving skills
