About the Role
Reporting to the National Field Sales Manager, play a critical role in planning and activation within the Independents channel, both at an individual level and via the management of the state field sales team. Manage a large and diverse portfolio across multiple categories, and effectively prioritising for success.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Certifications or training in FMCG sales or negotiation are highly regarded.
- Experience in a sales role within Independent Sales
- Hands-on management style with experience leading a small, dispersed teams.
- Willing and able to undertake travel within New South Wales.
- Hold an unrestricted Driver’s License.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including to build relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to work as an effective member of a diverse team, as well as the ability to exercise independence, sound judgement and initiative by applying critical thinking and lateral problem-solving skills in overcoming obstacles within tight timeframes.
- Advanced analytical skills for interpreting sales & category data to drive strategic decisions.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Motivated to own a process and accept accountability for performance
- Have a keen eye for continuous improvement and the willingness to adapt as required.
