As our Logistics Manager, you’ll take charge of receivals, warehousing, transportation, and distribution activities. Your mission: ensure that goods are stored, managed, and delivered efficiently while meeting the highest quality and safety standards. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and vendors to develop tailored logistics solutions that align with our business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the supply chain budget.
- Drive the implementation of best practices in logistics strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee inbound/outbound activities, ensuring accurate and timely receipt and dispatch of goods.
- Manage inventory accuracy, including cycle counts and stocktakes.
- Ensure compliance with quality and food safety policies, including Vendor Quality Management (VQM).
- Lead the logistics team in achieving KPIs and recommending improvements.
- Coordinate sourcing, procurement, and intercompany transfers to meet demand.
- Collaborate with freight forwarders to optimize shipping routes and costs.
- Analyse logistics data to identify bottlenecks and improve processes.
- Oversee the management of equipment (e.g., CHEP) and onsite fruit logistics.
- Resolve delivery issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Develop and enforce safety guidelines across all supply chain activities.
- Negotiate and secure more profitable contracts with suppliers and vendors.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, and distribution, preferably in FMCG.
- Expertise: Strong understanding of supply chain management and best practices.
